Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR RN)
📍 Location: North Chelmsford, MA
🕒 Shift: Day | 5x8-Hour | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join a fast-paced surgical team in an ambulatory/outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative nursing experience and the ability to deliver safe, high-quality patient care throughout the surgical process.

Education Requirements

• Completion of a minimum of two (2) years of education at an accredited School of Nursing

• Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in:

  • Operating Room (OR), OR

  • Ambulatory Surgery, OR

  • Outpatient Surgery

Certifications

• BLS (AHA) – Required

• ACLS (AHA) – Required within 1 year of hire

• PALS – Preferred or must obtain within 6 months of request

Licensure

• Active Massachusetts RN License

• License must be in good standing (no sanctions or disciplinary actions)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care

• Assist surgical team during procedures

• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety standards

• Monitor patient status and respond to changes promptly

• Document care accurately and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
