Description

Job Title: Pharmacist
Location: Elmhurst, NY 11373

Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 5×7.5 Hour Mid/Evening Shifts (3:30 PM – 12:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 37.5 Hours

Job Summary

The Pharmacist will provide medication services in an acute inpatient setting, including the Emergency Department and Psychiatric units, while ensuring safe and accurate medication dispensing.

Schedule Details

Every weekend schedule
Two consecutive days off (Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday)
Initial training for 2 weeks, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, including EPIC training

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 1 year of Pharmacist experience
Experience in acute inpatient pharmacy preferred
Familiarity with pharmacy dispensing systems
Experience with sterile processing and IV room preferred
Knowledge of EMR systems (EPIC preferred)

Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or higher

Certifications & Licensure

Valid New York State Pharmacist license issued by NYSED (Primary Source Verification required)
