Title:
MRI Technologist (MRI Tech)
Location:
Charleston, SC
Duration:
13 Weeks
Shift:
Day Shift – 3x12 Hours (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM), Friday–Sunday
Job responsibilities and all required and preferred skills and requirements:
-
Perform MRI examinations safely and accurately according to established protocols
-
Operate MRI equipment, primarily Siemens systems
-
Provide patient care before, during, and after MRI procedures
-
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper screening for MRI compatibility
-
Work in both mobile MRI settings (Fridays until 5 PM) and main MRI department (Friday evenings through Sunday)

Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment

Maintain accurate documentation using Epic charting system
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience

Experience with Siemens MRI equipment

BLS certification required
-
ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required

Ability to work weekends and holidays if they fall on scheduled shifts
Preferred Qualifications:

Level I Trauma experience

Teaching hospital experience
