Description

Title : Registered Respiratory Therapist NICU
Location : Plattsburgh, NY 12901
Duration : 16 weeks
Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Schedule & Flexibility

Must be flexible with scheduling
Every other weekend required
Schedule may be adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs
12-hour rotating shifts (Days/Nights)
- Day: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Night: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Rotation based on departmental needs
No block scheduling permitted
Holidays required
No call required
Self-scheduling not available

Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care across hospital floors
Flexibility to support Nursery and Emergency Department as needed
Patient population ranges from Neonate to Adult

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience required
Experience with neonatal/pediatric populations required
NRP certification required (or documented neonatal/pediatric exposure)
EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years – NON-NEGOTIABLE

Licensure & Certifications

New York State license required, or proof of application with applied date at time of submission
(Please note NY licensure may take 6–8 weeks; start dates will reflect this)
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP
Preferred Certifications: As applicable
