Description
Angiography Tech / Interventional Radiology
Charleston, WV
13-Week Contract
Day Shift | 4×10s (07:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
Schedule & Call
-
4×10 Days, Monday–Friday
-
On-call rotation required (weekdays & weekends)
-
~8 call days/month, including 1 weekend/month
-
Every 3rd weekend on call (5–6 total weekends per contract)
-
30-minute response time
-
Orientation: Every other Monday
Requirements
-
1 year Interventional Radiology experience
-
First-time travelers welcome
-
ARRT required
-
WV State License required (may submit pending; must be active before start)
-
BLS required
-
Vascular Intervention certification preferred
-
100-mile radius rule (75–99 miles may be submitted for facility approval)
Unit & Work Environment
-
Interventional Vascular Radiology Suite
-
Procedures include:
-
Peripheral angiography & venography with intervention
-
EVAR / TEVAR
-
Carotid stenting
-
Neuro-intervention (acute stroke, embolization)
-
-
Average daily census: 7–10 cases
-
Floating required to CAMC General (sister facility, 2 miles away) for 1 week
Skills Required
-
PACS operation
-
Equipment maintenance & inventory management
-
Fluoroscopy (Siemens preferred), Ultrasound

EKG lead placement
-
Access site prep
-
Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias

Circulator & scrub (maintain sterile field)

Vascular closure systems: Perclose, StarClose

Strict sterile technique & infection control
