🏥 Registered Nurse – PCU Float Pool (Travel Contract)

✨ Position Overview

Join a high-acuity Progressive Care/Stepdown Float Pool at a nationally recognized academic medical center. Nurses will float across multiple PCU/stepdown units and may support additional OSU campuses based on operational needs.

Great fit for strong telemetry cardiac stepdown nurses who are comfortable with diverse patient populations and floating.

Ratios: 1:3 (occasionally 1:4)
Adults & Geriatrics
Stepdown/PCU acuity
Self-scheduling
36-hour orientation
EPIC EMR
Interdisciplinary support teams available

Possible float locations include:
Ross Heart • Brain & Spine • Dodd • Other OSU campuses

✅ Required Qualifications

2 years RN experience
Minimum 1 year recent Stepdown/PCU experience
Active Ohio or Compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
EPIC experience required
Strong telemetry skills
IV starts competency
