Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU (NSICU)

📍 Location: York, PA
🕒 Shift: Nights | 3x12-Hour | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
📏 Local Radius Rule: 50 miles (local candidates paid at reduced bill rate)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Neuro ICU Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit (NSICU). The ideal candidate will have strong neuroscience critical care experience and be comfortable managing complex neuro and post-operative neurosurgical patients in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Schedule Requirements

Nights – 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
Every other weekend (EOW)
Holidays as needed (expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays)
No RTO between Christmas & New Year
1 hardship shift may be required depending on assignment timeframe
Flexibility to rotate day/night shifts preferred

Minimum Experience

2 years Neuro ICU experience (required)
Strong hands-on experience with:
- EVD & ICP monitoring
- Angiogram post-procedure care
- CRRT
- Carotid stenting
- Embolizations
- Ventilator & hemodynamic monitoring

Certifications (Required)

BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
NIHSS

Technical Requirements

EPIC experience required
