Title: X-Ray Technologist
Location: Rochester, NY
Duration: 8-week contract
Shift: Days | 4x8s

• Saturday: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM

• Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

• Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

• Includes 2 on-call shifts per month

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-Ray imaging across multiple settings including adult acute care, outpatient, pediatric outpatient, bedside/portable exams, and operating room cases

• Assist with OR procedures, including C-arm imaging

• Perform a wide range of X-Ray exams covering chest, abdomen/GI, spine, pelvis, upper and lower extremities, skull, and orbits

• Operate imaging equipment including DR rooms, GI rooms, C-arms, and portable X-Ray units

• Utilize PACS and Epic for image documentation and workflow

• Apply proper radiation safety and isolation/PPE protocols

• Provide age-appropriate care for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics

Required Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of X-Ray experience

• ARRT (R) certification

• BLS certification

• Epic charting experience

• Community hospital experience

• Experience with portable imaging and OR cases

• Proficiency in imaging of chest, abdomen (KUB, upright, decubitus), spine, pelvis, and extremities

• Ability to take on-call shifts as required

Preferred Skills:

• Pediatric and neonatal imaging experience

• Experience with Siemens DR rooms, Philips GI rooms, Client C-arms, and Carestream portables
