Location: Washington, DC 20037

Schedule: 5x8s (Day Shifts)
Housing Requirement: Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Position Overview

The Physical Therapist provides high-quality rehabilitative care as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. This role is responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based physical therapy services to support optimal patient outcomes in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations based on physician referrals

• Develop and implement age-appropriate, individualized plans of care

• Deliver therapeutic interventions aligned with patient goals and clinical findings

• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in the medical record

• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery

• Adapt efficiently to changing patient needs, priorities, and work assignments

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

• Minimum 1 year of experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care

• Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the practicing state

• BLS certification required

• Crisis Prevention (TEAM) training required within 6 months of hire

• Primary Source Verification (online) required

Preferred Qualifications

• First Aid certification
