Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Washington, DC 20037
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 5x8s (Day Shifts)
Housing Requirement: Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Position Overview
The Physical Therapist provides high-quality rehabilitative care as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team. This role is responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based physical therapy services to support optimal patient outcomes in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations based on physician referrals

Develop and implement age-appropriate, individualized plans of care

Deliver therapeutic interventions aligned with patient goals and clinical findings

Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in the medical record

Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery

Adapt efficiently to changing patient needs, priorities, and work assignments
Required Qualifications

Doctorate or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Minimum 1 year of experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care

Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the practicing state

BLS certification required

Crisis Prevention (TEAM) training required within 6 months of hire

Primary Source Verification (online) required
