Title: Physical Therapist – Acute Care
Location: Waynesboro, PA
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 – 18:00)

Job Responsibilities and Required & Preferred Skills and Requirements

Role Overview:
Physical Therapist providing acute care services in a hospital-based rehabilitation setting, primarily serving a geriatric patient population. The therapist will be part of an interdisciplinary team and may be required to float to nearby facilities as patient care needs arise.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide acute care physical therapy services in a rehabilitation hospital setting

• Evaluate, treat, and progress patients with mobility, functional, and rehabilitation needs

• Deliver care primarily to geriatric patients

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and discharge planning

• Document evaluations and treatments accurately using EPIC

• May care for COVID-positive patients

• Float across county lines if required for patient care needs

• Work weekends and holidays as needed

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience required

• Travel experience not required

Licensure & Certifications (Required):

• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license

• BLS (AHA or ARC only)

Technology Requirements:

• EPIC experience required / heavily preferred

Scheduling & Coverage:

• Weekend coverage as needed

• No call requirements
