Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Location: Redwood Falls, MN
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day – 3x8-Hour (Start times vary between 07:00 – 11:00)

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as a Certified Surgical Technologist providing scrub services in the operating room
• Prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures
• Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical cases and adhere to aseptic technique standards
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments, sutures, and supplies efficiently during procedures
• Assist with patient positioning, skin preparation, and surgical draping
• Perform counts of sponges, needles, and instruments in collaboration with the circulating nurse
• Assist with specimen handling and proper labeling per policy
• Clean, restock, and prepare OR suites between cases
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays, as required by contract
• Respond to call within required response time
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to support safe patient care
• Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterile technique
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operating room environment
• Flexibility with variable start times and on-call scheduling
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team
• Reliability and strong attention to detail in high-acuity surgical settings

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) — required
• BLS (AHA) — required
