Description
Title: Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
Location: Fayetteville, NC
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift – 4x12 hours (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Job Responsibilities:
-
Provide respiratory therapy care to adult and pediatric patients
-
Work in ICU and acute care settings
-
Perform respiratory treatments and procedures within scope of practice
-
Float between like units as needed to support staffing needs
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
-
Document patient care accurately using Epic charting system
-
Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
-
Complete makeup shifts if scheduled shifts are called out per department needs
Required Skills & Requirements:
-
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
-
Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
-
Experience with both adult and pediatric patients
-
ICU experience required
-
Ability and willingness to float within scope of practice
-
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
-
Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
-
No on-call requirement
-
Pending licenses not accepted
-
Local candidates not accepted (50-mile radius rule)
-
Must comply with return-to-staff and contract limit policies
-
Guaranteed hours subject to call-off policy (2 shifts per 13-week assignment)

Maximum of 4 days requested time off; no holidays allowed
Preferred Skills:

Experience in a Level III Trauma Center

Teaching hospital experience
