Description

Position: RN – Neuro ICU
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 3x12s or 4x12s
Flexibility to rotate Day/Night preferred
Weekends: Every Other Weekend
Local Rate: Less than posted BR
Interview: Manager Interview Required

Unit Overview:

10-bed Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) caring for critically ill stroke patients (ischemic & hemorrhagic), post-op neurosurgery, neuro-endovascular cases, and overflow medical ICU patients (18 ).

Procedures & care include:

ICP monitoring & EVD management
Post IV/IA tPA care
Mechanical thrombectomy
AVM & aneurysm repair
Carotid stenting
Craniotomy
CRRT
Ventilator & hemodynamic management
Angiogram post-care & embolizations

May care for COVID patients.
Tobacco & fragrance-free facility (please notify travelers prior to submission).

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years Neuro ICU experience
Strong experience with EVD, ICP, angiogram post-care, CRRT, carotid, embolizations
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
EPIC experience required
Willingness to float to other ICUs if needed
First-time travelers considered

Strong neuro critical care experience is essential for consideration.
