Description
Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Napa, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 5x8-Hour (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), start time between 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM; weekend call rotation (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Job Responsibilities:
-
Deliver radiation therapy treatments to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting

Operate and manage treatment units including Elekta Infinity and Varian 21 ex/ix
-
Perform CBCT/kV/mV imaging for beam modifying and positioning
-
Provide treatments including SRS and SBRT
-
Work with CT Simulator (Toshiba)
-
Perform dosimetry and electron field treatments
-
Administer internal treatments and support respiratory gating procedures
-
Utilize Epic charting system (preferred experience)
-
Manage daily caseload of approximately 20 patients per machine
-
Float between hospital units and nearby affiliate facilities as needed
-
Participate in weekend call rotation (rotated)

Adhere to compliance, documentation, and module training requirements
Required Qualifications:
-
Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience
-
ARRT (T) certification
-
Valid California state license (must be in hand at submission; pending license accepted)

Experience in adult outpatient and/or acute care settings
-
Experience with CBCT/kV/mV imaging
-
Ability to float within facility or nearby affiliates
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-
Experience with Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
-
SBRT experience
-
Experience treating benign brain tumors, Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, pancreatic cancer, testicular cancer, heterotopic bone, keloids, and superior vena cava

Respiratory gating experience

Tomo Therapy experience

Elekta Infinity and Varian 21 ex/ix experience

Impac MOSAIQ experience

Bean Data Acquisition

Adult acute care experience

Charge experience (if applicable)
