Description

Title: EEG Technician
Location: Portland, OR 97225
Duration: 16 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00)

Patient Ratio: 1:1

On-Call Requirements:

On-call coverage is required and rotates between weekdays and weekends.
Typically includes 2–4 weekday on-call shifts per month and one weekend every six weeks.
Occasional coverage of weekend day shifts may be required when staff are on PTO.
EEG techs are assigned 3–4 on-call shifts per month, with scheduling dependent on the monthly rotation.
Techs are not scheduled for more than one on-call shift within a 4–5 day interval (e.g., if on call Monday, the next on-call would not be until Friday).
On-call shifts run from 4:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
At 9:00 PM, pagers are turned off; only the neurologist may contact the EEG tech.
EEG techs are not required to work their regular shift following an on-call assignment and may call out post-call without using PTO, if desired.
On average, techs are called in for approximately 50% of their on-call shifts per month.

Weekends:

Weekend rotation is required (approximately one weekend every six weeks).
