Position: RN -Labor and Delivery
Location: Belleville, KS 66935
Duration: 13 Weeks
Client Name: Republic County Hospital

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

• OB / Med Surg RN Needed
• Night shift
• No call
• 5% L&D – 95% Med Surg
• The nurse will need to be able to manage a L&D patient/Ob surgeries. The majority of patient care will be M/S. The nurse will need to be able to handle a labor patient through delivery and postpartum. My other staff can assist in the delivery room, but the travel nurse will be the primary to manage an L&D patient.
• The L&D experience is mandatory.
• Need a nurse that can manage a delivery from start to finish.
• We do labor inductions and have pregnant patients present at any time.
• They will be the primary nurse for a L&D patient, with a floor nurse as back up.
• They will mainly be taking care of med/surg patients.
• We are Critical Access so we care for all ages, and diagnoses. To include, telemetry patients, general surgery and joint replacements.
• *Nurse needs to be able to manage an L&D patient independently, including OB surgery.
• They would be the primary nurse/responsible for L&D.
• Another nurse who is not OB trained will be assisting at time of delivery.
• We are in need of a nurse who can care for an OB patient from start to finish independently.
