Title: Physical Therapist – Outpatient

Location: Uvalde, TX

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Day Shift – Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8s)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient physical therapy evaluations and treatment plans.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans to improve mobility, function, and quality of life.

• Document patient care accurately in Meditech EMR system.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.

• Float within scope of practice as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience.

• Active Physical Therapist license (state of practice).

• BLS certification (required).

• Experience working in outpatient therapy settings.

• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• COVID-19 vaccination (medical/religious exemptions only).

• Flu vaccination (medical/religious exemptions only).

Preferred Skills:

• Previous travel experience (first-time travelers accepted).

• Experience with Meditech EMR.

• Flexibility to float as needed within scope.
