Description

Title: PT Acute Care Hospital
Location: Charleston, WV 25304
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 16:00)

Unit Overview:
Medical Rehabilitation Unit within a Trauma Hospital, primarily treating stroke patients (approximately 40%). Therapists manage a maximum of 5 patients per day, typically seeing 3–4 patients daily for 90-minute sessions.

Schedule & Assignment Details:

Shift: 5x8 Days (Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
Patient Ratio: 1:5
Weekend Requirement: None
On-Call: None
Potential to float to sister facilities

Experience & Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience required
First-time travelers accepted with acute care experience
BLS certification required
Pending WV PT license accepted; active licensure required prior to start
No RTO restrictions
