Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Maryville, TN
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day – 5x8 Hours (08:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3D mammography procedures in an outpatient setting

• Assist with stereotactic biopsies (preferred)

• Perform fine needle aspirations and needle localizations (preferred)

• Operate Client mammography equipment (Hologic Affirm BX experience preferred)

• Ensure accurate documentation using Epic EMR

• Maintain compliance with mammography quality and regulatory standards

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care to adult patients

• Maintain productivity in a high-volume unit (approx. 100 patients per day; 6 rooms)

• Wear black scrubs as required by unit policy

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience

• Travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)

• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience

• ARRT (M) – Mammography Certification

• Current BLS (CPR) certification

• Current ARRT certification

• 40-hour initial mammography training

• 8-hour digital mammography training

• 8-hour tomosynthesis training

• 15 Mammography CEUs within the last 3 years

• Minimum of 200 mammograms performed within the last 2 years

• Must provide Social Security Number at time of submission

• Must complete pre-assignment testing and required modules within 48 hours of receiving access

Work Setting:

• Outpatient Mammography Unit

• Adult patient population

• Interdisciplinary support from Radiology
