Description

Position: RN – Medical Step-Down Unit (MSDU)
Location: Rochester, NY
Shift: 4x12 Nights
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Local Radius: Must reside outside 75-mile radius
Charting: EPIC experience required

Requirements:

BLS Certification required
Experience: Minimum 1 Year Required
Must be comfortable managing 1:5–1:7 Med-Surg patient ratios

Clinical Skills Required:

Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response:

Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Participation in Rapid Response and Code Teams

IV Therapy / Phlebotomy:

Peripheral IV line care and management

Respiratory Care:

Nasal cannula
Oxygen face masks
Portable oxygen tank use
Non-invasive airway management

Professional Skills:

Isolation precautions
