Description

Registered Nurse – IMCU / Stepdown Float
Location: Boone, NC
Start Date: 03/16/2026
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities
Provide care for IMCU/Stepdown and Telemetry patients
Continuous cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
Manage cardiac drips (no titration)
Respond to Rapid Response and Code situations
Administer blood products
Perform central and peripheral line care
Provide oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway management
Maintain strict isolation and PPE protocols
Float to MedSurg units as required

Requirements
Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience (Stepdown/IMCU/Telemetry required)
Telemetry experience required
Recent Epic proficiency required
Travel experience not required

Licensure:
Active North Carolina RN License or Multistate/Compact License (must be active or pending with clear ETA at submission)

Certifications (AHA Required):
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NIHSS
