Description

Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Skilled Nursing Facility
Location: Los Angeles, California
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5×8 hours (08:00 – 17:00)

Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills

Core Responsibilities

Provide speech-language pathology services in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting
Evaluate, assess, and treat speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans and perform ongoing reassessments
Complete documentation including evaluations, assessments, and discharge summaries
Educate patients and families on therapy plans and communication/swallowing strategies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care

Required Qualifications

Active California SLP license (in hand at submission)
Minimum 1 year of SNF experience
BLS certification
Experience with electronic charting systems
Knowledge of SNF cognitive and communication assessment tools (e.g., BIMS, CPS)
