Description

Position: RN - CCU
Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Duration: 13 Weeks
Client Name: Upstate University Hospital

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

RN- Critical Care

Looking for day shift nurses for Adult ED/ICU holding unit. Must have 2 years experience in ICU, ED experience preferred. Will be required to work every other weekend and some holidays- set schedules and time off more than 7 days will not be granted. Should have previous EPIC and level 1 or 2 trauma experience.

Qualifications: Current New York State Registration. Certified in BLS and able to be recertified. Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience (within past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level as Hospital.
Travelers will only be considered if experienced in hospitals of equal or greater size or trauma centers.
Experience with an EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred. Must possess excellent interpersonal
and communication skills. Must not have had professional license or certification suspended or
investigated. Must not have been named as a defendant in a professional liability claim. Must have
verification of legal right to work in U.S. Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance. All
candidates are subject to drug screening and criminal background check as described in this Agreement.
Duties: Able to perform majority of patient care skills, good nursing assessment in the level of acute care setting
in the specialty with minimal orientation and supervision.
Total Hourly Pay Rate: $ 84.11 Per Hour On W2(Taxable): $ 18.00 Per Hour Stipend(Non-Taxable): $ 66.11 Per Hour Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $ 3,028.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $ 648.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $ 2,380.00 Per Week OT Rate ON W-2 $ 27.00 Per Hour Hours per week: $ 36.00 Hours
