Description

Title: Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech
Location: Greensboro, NC 27401
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Monday – Friday
Call: Required as needed
Floating: Required in the event of a COVID surge

Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Experience:

Minimum of 1 year required
First-time travelers accepted

Certifications Required:

BLS and ACLS
RCIS/RCES strongly preferred but not required

Patient Population:

Adults and Geriatrics

Skills & Responsibilities:

Scrubbing and EKG monitoring
Balloon angioplasty, PCI, stent placement, thrombectomy, Impella insertion
Left and right heart catheterization, Rotablator procedures
EPIC (Cupid) and XPER Witt for hemodynamic monitoring

Procedural Volume:

25–35 invasive cardiac cath procedures per day

Invasive & EP Lab Experience Includes:

Cardiac interventions and adjunct therapies (CSI atherectomy, Impella, IABP, ACIST, OCT)
LHC, RHC, Swan-Ganz, IVUS, AngioJet
Radial, ulnar, and femoral access
EP lab procedures (device implants, ablations, EP studies)
PV lab procedures (fistulagrams, A/O lower extremity runoff, pedal access, thrombectomy)
Hemodynamic monitoring and conscious sedation

Common Diagnoses:

Coronary artery disease (CAD)
Peripheral vascular disease (PVD)
Arrhythmias and other abnormal cardiac electrical functions
