Description
Title: Electrophysiology Technologist (EP Tech)
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00–17:30) with late case/on-call coverage as needed
Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills
Responsibilities:
-
Assist physicians during electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, mapping, cardioversions, and device implant procedures.

Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and sterile fields; perform scrubbing and circulating duties.

Conduct EKG lead placement, hemodynamic monitoring, and patient preparation including vascular access site prep.

Monitor patients throughout procedures and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.

Support pacemaker/AICD insertions, programming, and EP evaluations.

Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR and ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards.

Stock supplies, operate PACS, and assist with equipment setup and maintenance.

Participate in on-call rotation and support late EP cases.
Required Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of Electrophysiology or Cath Lab experience.

Experience in EP lab or interventional cardiac settings.

Proficiency with arrhythmia monitoring and procedural support.

Epic charting experience.

Required certifications:
-
BLS
-
ACLS
-
ARRT (R)
-
Preferred Qualifications:

CCI RCES or RCIS certification.
