Floating REQ: Y PICU, Peds, Eating Disorder unit - will receive 6 hr orientation to float units

Special Procedures/Unit Details:
Level IIIb - We are a small Children's hospital located within a community based adult trauma hospital with no residents/fellows; Our Neonatologists are on site 24/7. Our patients vary in diagnosis: Prematurity, respiratory distress, multiples common, Late Pre-Terms, ELBW, hypoglycemics, sepsis, NAS, occasional surgeries and other scattered diagnoses. Acuity can range from very acute to non-acute and lacks any pattern. Ability to handle varying diagnoses/acuity important. Would prefer nurses that have experienced some travel assignments after a solid base for their primary NICU experience. Our unit census can swing from 8 to 16. We specialize in developmental care and family centered care and are very progressive for a small children's hospital.
