Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Day Shift)

Location: Tulsa, OK
Shift: Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (06:30 – 19:00)
Weekly Hours: Option of 36 or 48 hours
Contract Type: Travel Assignment

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a day-shift travel assignment. The RN will provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, manage fetal monitoring, and support safe deliveries in a fast-paced L&D unit.

Requirements

Experience: 1–2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
Fetal Monitoring: Basic to Intermediate competency required
Travel Experience: Preferred
Certifications (Required):
- BLS
- NRP

Schedule & Coverage

Day shift: 06:30 – 19:00
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Flexible scheduling with 36 or 48-hour options

Unit & Facility Details

Scrubs: Provided by facility

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
Perform and interpret fetal monitoring (EFM)
Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Administer medications and IV therapies per protocol
Collaborate with OB physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation and patient safety standards
