Description
Title: MRI Technologist (Pediatric Cardiac MRI)
Location: San Diego, California
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00–15:30), Monday–Friday
Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills
Responsibilities:

Perform MRI examinations with strong focus on pediatric cardiac MRI (CMR), including congenital cardiac imaging.

Operate MRI scanners and ensure high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety.

Prepare pediatric patients for imaging procedures and monitor them throughout scans.

Follow MRI safety protocols, infection control standards, and PPE guidelines.

Conduct image post-processing, multiplanar reconstruction, and advanced MRI techniques.

Collaborate with radiologists, cardiology teams, and interdisciplinary support staff.

Document imaging procedures and patient information using Epic EMR.
Required Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of hands-on pediatric cardiac MRI experience in a high-volume, high-complexity pediatric facility.

Strong congenital cardiac MRI experience.
-
Experience with Siemens MRI equipment.
-
Epic charting experience.

Certifications required:
-
ARMRIT
-
ARRT (R)
-
BLS
-
Preferred Qualifications:
-
ARRT (MR) certification.
-
ACLS certification.
