Description
Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology – Nuclear Medicine
Facility: Stormont Vail Hospital
Location: 1500 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604
Shift: Days, 5×8-Hour (08:00–17:00)
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Hours: 40 hours/week
Pay Package
Hourly Breakdown:

Total Hourly Pay Rate: $90.00/hr

W2 (Taxable): $18.00/hr

Stipend (Non-Taxable): $72.00/hr

OT Rate (W2): $27.00/hr

Description
Stormont Vail Hospital is seeking a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and nuclear cardiology procedures.
Requirements
-
ARRT or CNMT certification required
-
Nuclear Medicine experience required
-
Ability to assist with training new staff
Responsibilities
-
Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine and nuclear cardiology procedures using radioactive materials

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, including I-131 thyroid therapies

Perform IV puncture using proper injection techniques
-
Produce high-quality diagnostic studies to meet physician and patient needs

Provide preliminary findings to physicians and healthcare professionals as appropriate
-
Perform quality control on instruments and review calibration data to identify malfunctions

Assist in training new staff members

Ability to lift or assist with moving 4–5 patients daily
