Description
Title: Radiology / Cardiology – Interventional Radiology (IR)
Location: Greenville, SC
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift, 4x10-Hour (07:00–17:30) or 5x8-Hour (07:00–15:30)
Job Responsibilities:
-
Provide specialized nursing care in a Neuro Endovascular / Interventional Radiology setting
-
Assist with mechanical thrombectomy, cerebral angiograms, carotid stent placement, and cerebral aneurysm coiling
-
Deliver patient care for subarachnoid hemorrhage and acute stroke interventions
-
Perform and monitor patients under moderate sedation
-
Conduct continuous hemodynamic and vital sign monitoring during procedures
-
Function in a Critical Care RN role within a comprehensive stroke environment
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Radiology, and Rapid Response Teams
-
Utilize Omnicell medication system for medication administration
-
Document all patient care accurately in EPIC EMR
-
Provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
-
Float to other qualified units and campuses as required
-
Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures experience
-
Three years of critical care nursing experience (preferably Neuro ICU)
-
Experience in Neuro IR or Neuro Endovascular setting required

Strong knowledge of stroke intervention protocols
-
Experience with moderate sedation and patient monitoring
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment
-
Previous travel experience required

Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-
BLS (Basic Life Support) – required
-
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – required
-
ARRT (R) – required
