AMC – Travel RN – Progressive Critical Care Unit – Nights

Start: 3/16/2026
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Duration: 13 weeks
Experience Required: 2 years
EMR: EPIC (Required)
Scrubs: Navy Blue
Local Travelers: NOT accepted

🔎 True Unit Acuity (Very Important)

This is NOT a standard PCU.

This is a high-acuity stepdown/ICU hybrid managing:

Respiratory failure
Sepsis
Multi-system organ dysfunction
Closed head injuries
Complex trauma
Surgical complications
Endocrine instability
Advanced hemodynamics

Required Competencies:

Pressor titration (per protocol)
Antihypertensive drips
Sedative & Narcan drips
Thrombolytics
A-line
CVP monitoring
EVD management
Ortho traction
HFNC / BiPAP / CPAP
Infection prevention protocols

Average assignment: 3 high-acuity patients

This is effectively a community ICU stepdown with ICU-level expectations.
