Position: RN – Medical/Surgical Tele (MS/Tele)
Location: Edinburgh, TX
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 3x12s Nights (New MS Department)

Must live at least 100 miles from the facility

License & Education:

• Current RN License (State of TX or Compact) – Required

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required

• BSN – Highly desired

Certifications Required:

• NIHSS

• BLS

• ACLS

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years RN experience – Required

• 2 years Med/Surg Tele experience – Required

• Cerner experience – Required

Duties:

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments

• Complete admission assessments within required timeframes

• Deliver age-appropriate care across the lifespan

• Interpret patient data and determine appropriate nursing interventions

• Demonstrate understanding of treatment plans and patient needs

• Provide competent, compassionate, and efficient patient care

• Document assessments and interventions per policy and regulatory standards
