Description

Position: Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health (Psych/BHU)
Location: Largo, MD 20774
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 03/23/2026
Shift: Night – 3x12-Hour (7:30pm – 8:00am)
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Experience Requirements:

2 years Psych/Behavioral Health Unit experience preferred
Will accept 1 year with strong Behavioral Health experience (Screen to Manager)
First-time travelers accepted

License & Certifications:

Active Maryland RN License – Required
BLS – Required
CPI – Required
PALS – Preferred
ACLS – Preferred
CBH – Preferred

Unit Details:

7-bed locked Behavioral Health Unit
- 5 Adult beds
- 2 Pediatric beds
Average Daily Census: 7
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:3 (up to 1:4)
Patient Population: Pediatric through Geriatric
