Description

Job Title: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Location: New York, NY 10016
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Five (5) 8-hour shifts per week (Rotating shifts between 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM, including weekends)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join a hospital-based team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults with mental illness and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide social work services to adult patients with mental health conditions
Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop appropriate care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Support discharge planning and care coordination
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Required Qualifications

Minimum of one (1) year of LMSW experience
Experience working with adults with mental illness
Hospital experience preferred by hiring manager
Master's Degree in Social Work
Valid Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license issued by NYSED (Primary Source Verification required)
