📌 Position Overview
Job Title: Travel RN – Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCU) – Nights
Start Date: 04/26/2026
End Date: 07/26/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Weekends: Every Other
Holidays: Rotating
🚨 Critical Requirements
Minimum 2 years PCU / ICU experience
Epic experience – REQUIRED
ACLS – REQUIRED
Must complete competency exam within 24 hours of submission
Navy blue scrubs required
No local candidates (AMC county restrictions apply)
🏥 Unit Acuity & Clinical Expectations
This is high-acuity Progressive Critical Care, not basic stepdown.

Patient population includes:
Respiratory failure
Sepsis
Closed head injuries
Multi-system organ dysfunction
Complex trauma
Surgical complications
Endocrine crises
Average assignment: 3 high-acuity patients
🔥 Must Be Comfortable With:
Pressor titration (per protocol)
Antihypertensive drips
Sedation & Narcan drips
Thrombolytics
Arterial lines (A-line)
CVP monitoring
EVD (External Ventricular Drain)
Orthopedic traction
Infection prevention protocols
HFNC
BiPAP / CPAP
Oxypendent therapy
