Description

Title: CVOR Tech
Location: Lake Charles, LA
Duration: 13 weeks
Start date: 03/23/2026
Shift: Day, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 5×8, 40 hours

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 2 years CVOR / Surgical Tech experience in Operating Room, CVOR experience, ability to assist in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures, scrub experience including sterile field setup and instrumentation, infection control and universal protocol (time-out) procedure knowledge.
Certification: BLS (AHA), NBSTSA or NCCT (Certified Surgical Technologist)
Charting System: Epic
Patient Age Group: Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
On-call requirement: Yes (shared call starting 3:00 PM – 6:00 AM; one weekend per month)
Weekend Coverage: One weekend per month (on call)
Travel experience required: Yes

Community hospital experience
Ambulatory OR experience
CVOR experience
Trauma experience
5 years CVOR / Surgical Tech experience (strongly preferred)
