Scheduling: Self scheduling with block scheduling available

Weekend coverage: Every other weekend

Fetal Monitoring

Internal fetal monitoring

Recognition of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
Delivery Support

Assist vaginal deliveries

Circulate for C-section

Recover C-section patients (PACU)
High-Risk Pregnancy Conditions

Pre-eclampsia / eclampsia

Placenta previa / abruptio

Multiple gestation

HELLP syndrome

Premature rupture of membranes
Neonatal Care

APGAR scoring

Cord blood collection

Infant ID banding
Travel nurses will:

Monitor labor progression
-
Manage medication titration
-
Perform sterile vaginal exams
-
Assist with C-sections
-
Provide postpartum care
-
Document in Epic charting system
-
Recent L&D experience required
-
Basic or intermediate fetal monitoring required
-
Every other weekend coverage
-
Experience with medication titration (Pitocin/Magnesium) is expected.

Comfortable with high-risk pregnancies

Skilled in fetal monitoring & C-section recovery

Experience in 100 birth/month hospitals
