Description

Job Title: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Location: New York, NY 10016

Job Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: 5x8-Hour Days (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 40 Hours
Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to provide social work services in a hospital setting. The candidate will support patients and families by addressing psychosocial needs, coordinating care, and assisting with discharge planning.

Required Skills and Experience:

Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Licensed Master Social Worker
Experience working in inpatient settings such as medicine, surgery (med/surg), or rehabilitation
Hospital experience preferred

Education:

Master's Degree in Social Work required

Certifications and Licensure:

Valid Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED)
Primary Source Verification required

Schedule Notes:

Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Experience in inpatient medicine, surgery (med/surg), or rehabilitation preferred
Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience required
Interviews will be conducted via WebEx or phone
