Travel Registered Nurse – CVOR (Open Heart OR)
Facility : Cone Health – The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital
Location: Greensboro, NC 27401
Contract – 13 Weeks
Start Date: March 30, 2026
Shift: Days | 4 × 10-hour shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Position Overview : Cone Health is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse with Open Heart OR experience to assist in complex cardiovascular procedures. The RN will support surgical teams during advanced cardiac surgeries and ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities
Circulate in Open Heart surgical procedures
Assist surgeons during cardiac and thoracic surgeries
Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
Manage and document care using EPIC charting system
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary surgical teams
Respond to emergency situations and assist with life-support devices

Required Experience
Minimum 2 years CVOR experience
Open Heart OR experience REQUIRED
Travel experience required (unless candidate has strong open heart experience)
EPIC charting experience required

Required Certifications
BLS – Basic Life Support
ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
