Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU (Cardiac Critical Care Unit)
Location: Pinehurst, North Carolina
Start Date: April 6, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)|Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Patient Ratio: 1:2

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Cardiac Critical Care Unit (CCU) on a 13-week contract. This role involves providing high-quality care to critically ill cardiac patients in a fast-paced ICU environment.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care to critically ill cardiac patients
Monitor and manage patients with complex cardiac conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, CHF, A-Fib, and post-arrest cases
Administer medications, including cardiac and vasoactive drips
Perform cardiac monitoring and interpret dysrhythmias
Manage ventilated patients and respiratory support systems (BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC)
Assist with procedures such as chest tube management and arterial line care
Administer blood products and manage central/PICC lines
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending license accepted)
Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
Cardiac ICU experience required
Experience with Epic EMR

Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
