Duration: 14–15 Weeks
Shift: 5x8-Hour Days
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements
Job Summary
We are seeking a Physical Therapist I to provide care to pediatric patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role involves evaluating, treating, and supporting children with neurologic and higher acuity conditions. The therapist will also collaborate with families and healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Perform patient evaluations, including history, assessments, and appropriate testing

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Provide therapy interventions and patient/family education

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members

Participate in patient care conferences and team discussions

Assist with care coordination and communicate patient progress effectively
Required Skills & Experience

Inpatient rehabilitation experience required

Experience with neurologic or brain injury patients or high-acuity cases
-
Pediatric experience preferred but not required
Education Requirements

Master's degree in Physical Therapy required

Bachelor's degree accepted if licensed prior to December 31, 2002
Licensure & Certifications
-
Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey

CPR Certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross with hands-on skills verification)
