Description
Position: RN – Nurse Educator (Maternal Child Health)
Location: Brooklyn, New York
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 5 Days per Week (Day Shift)
Important Requirements:

Strong Labor & Delivery experience required (Minimum 2 years)

Candidate will support education across MCH units including:
-
Labor & Delivery (L&D)
-
NICU
-
Mother Baby Unit (MBU)
-
Pediatrics
-
-
Master's in Education strongly preferred
-
Assignment will NOT extend beyond the original 13 weeks
Required Education:
-
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-
Active New York State RN License
-
Primary Source Verification of RN License from NYS Department of Education (NYSED)

AHA BLS Certification
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide clinical education and training for staff across Maternal Child Health units
-
Support education initiatives for Labor & Delivery, NICU, Postpartum, and Pediatrics
-
Assist with staff competency development, training programs, and clinical guidance
-
Ensure evidence-based practices and patient safety standards are followed
Additional Notes:
-
Candidate must have strong clinical L&D background to support multiple MCH departments
-
Education and training role supporting nursing staff and clinical teams
-
No contract extension available beyond 13 weeks
