Description

Provide specialized care for hemodynamically stable patients requiring a higher intensity of monitoring and nursing intervention than standard floors.
Continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding immediately to acute changes or life-threatening arrhythmias.
Administer and titrate complex medications, including vasoactive drips and other high-alert intravenous therapies.
Perform frequent, high-level physical assessments to detect and manage subtle shifts in patient acuity and clinical status.
Manage advanced medical technology such as arterial lines, central lines, and non-invasive ventilation equipment.
