RN – Tele Stepdown (Nights) | Glen Burnie, MD
Location: 301 Hospital Dr, Glen Burnie, MD 21061
Shift: 3x12 Nights (8:00 PM – 8:30 AM)
Start Date: 05/04/2026 | Duration: 13 Weeks

Summary:
Seeking an experienced Tele Stepdown RN to provide care for adult & geriatric patients in a 27-bed unit (Avg census: 26) with cardiac monitoring and high-acuity needs.

Patient Population:
COPD, GI Bleed, ESRD, Cardiac Dysrhythmias, Electrolyte Imbalances, Ventilator-dependent patients, Peritoneal Dialysis

Responsibilities:

Cardiac monitoring & rhythm interpretation
Patient assessment & care planning
Medication administration & treatment
Assist with procedures (thoracentesis, dialysis)
Use of EKG, Zoll, lifts, VAC dressing

Requirements:

2 years RN experience (Stepdown/Tele)
First-time travelers considered (strong experience)
MD RN License
BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS

Unit Details:

27 Beds | Adults & Geriatrics
Procedures: Peritoneal Dialysis, Bedside Thoracentesis
Equipment: EKG, Zoll, Viking lift, Sit-to-stand, VAC

Schedule Notes:

Every other weekend required
Holidays as scheduled
Floating required (sister/lower acuity units)
No on-call
