Job Title: Radiology Tech / X-Ray Tech
Location: Detroit, MI 48236

Job Duration: 26 Weeks
Shift: 5x8-Hour Days
Hours per Week: 40 Hours
Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Radiology Tech specializes in performing computerized tomographic (CT) and general diagnostic radiology procedures. The role involves working with patients across different departments and ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and general diagnostic radiology procedures
• Work in assigned areas such as ER or OR
• Perform portable imaging as required
• Handle patients across all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric
• Ensure patient safety and follow all imaging protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Operate radiology equipment including Client, Carestream, and OEC C-Arms
• Work with Cerner system

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• ARRT (RT) Certification required
• CT Registry or registry-eligible
• BLS (Healthcare Provider) Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Experience in Level I or II Trauma settings (ER/IP/OP or OR) required
• Must maintain continuing education requirements

Schedule Details:

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Schedule: Monday–Friday with every other weekend rotation
• On-Call: Not required
• Block Scheduling: Not available

Interview Details:

• Type: MS Teams or Phone
• Duration: 15 minutes
• Panel: Manager, Supervisor, and possible Lead Tech

Additional Information:

• Exposure to ER and OR environments
• Experience with portable imaging required
• EMR System: Cerner (Epic not used)
