Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – PACU
Location: 219 S Washington St, Easton, MD 21601
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 05/04/2026

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled PACU RN to provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. The role requires flexibility in scheduling and strong clinical skills in recovery and monitoring.

Shift Details:

Day 2x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
Day 2x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)

Responsibilities:

Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia
Assess airway, vital signs, and level of consciousness
Manage pain, nausea, and post-op complications
Administer medications and IV therapies
Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
Document care accurately in EMR

Requirements:

Active Maryland RN License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
PACU or critical care experience preferred

Patient Population:

Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults

Schedule & Expectations:

Weekends: Every other weekend
Holidays: As scheduled
Floating: Within specialty, other units, and sister facilities (within scope)
On-Call: Required
- Fri: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Sat: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- Sun: 7:00 AM – 7:30 AM
- Holidays: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Frequency: 2 shifts per 4 weeks (occasionally 3)
