Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology
Location: 10101 Forest Hill Blvd. Wellington, FL 33414
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
On-Call: Required

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced acute care setting. The RN will provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures, with a strong focus on neuro and stroke-related interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
Assist physicians with IR procedures, including neuro and stroke interventions
Administer medications, IV therapy, and conscious sedation as required
Monitor patient response and manage complications during procedures
Ensure accurate documentation in Cerner
Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery
Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Requirements:

Active RN License (state/compact) – Must be clean (no hits)
Minimum 2–3 years of IR acute care experience – Required
Neuro/Stroke experience – Required
Cerner experience – Required
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS – Required
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Must live 100 miles away

Additional Details:

Day shift with weekday schedule and on-call responsibilities
High-acuity environment requiring strong procedural and monitoring skills
Opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary teams in advanced IR care
