Shift Details:
Flexible scheduling based on department needs:
• Day: 4x10 (06:30 – 18:30) / 5x8 (06:30 – 15:00)
• Mid: 4x10 (13:00 – 23:00) / 5x8 (14:30 – 23:00)
• Mix of shifts: 2x8 2x12 (06:30 – 23:00)
• Must be flexible for scheduling variations
• On-call required

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to provide specialized perioperative care in a high-acuity surgical environment. The RN will support complex cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures while ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide intraoperative nursing care for cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant surgeries
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, instruments, and equipment
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members
• Monitor patient condition throughout surgical procedures
• Ensure accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency cases

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac, vascular, and transplant experience
• At least 1 year of CVOR experience
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• Active RN license (state of Ohio or compact)
• Certifications: BLS, NIH
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must be flexible with shifts and scheduling
