Description

Pathology Assistant Needed

Peform complete dissection, gross description, selection and submission of tissue for microscopic examiniation and special studies such as flow cytometry and/or immunohistochemical staining.
Interacts with the pathologists and carrying out their duties under the direction of the Pathologist. Maintaining high ethical standards and integirty in performance of their assigned duties.
Photograph gross and microscopic specimens, help prepare educational conferences and provide training to pathology personnel, including pathology residents and medical students.
Works as liaison to other departments and laboratories to ensure quality healthcare.
Maintains pathology protocols, procedures, reports and data.

Required Education: AD in Biological, Chemical or a related Laboratory Science - OR - Bachelor of Science
Work Experience: Minimum 1 year
Required Certs/Lic: PA (ASCP)
