Compensation Package

Hourly Breakdown

Total Hourly Pay Rate: $90.00 per hour
W2 (Taxable): $18.00 per hour
Stipend (Non-Taxable): $72.00 per hour

Weekly Breakdown

Weekly Gross Pay: $3,600.00 per week
W2 (Taxable): $720.00 per week
Stipend (Non-Taxable): $2,880.00 per week

Overtime Rate (W2): $27.00 per hour
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Position Overview

The CVOR Registered Nurse provides perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room environment, assisting with complex surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes. The role requires strong scrub and circulating experience in high-acuity surgical cases.

Position Details

Specialty: CVOR RN
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of OR experience
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Charting System: Cerner & PowerChart experience required

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Active RN License (NJ or Compact)
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification

Scheduling & Call Requirements

• First to float from Mainland Campus to City Campus if needed
• Staggered 10-hour shifts with on-call and weekend availability required

Call Requirement:
• (2) 48-hour weekend call shifts and (14) weekday call shifts within a 6-week period
• Weeknight call: Monday–Friday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend call: Saturday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM
• Regular working hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM and 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM (alternating schedule; same for staff and travelers)
